That's strange, I found Thomas Chism and his wife, Alabama, in the 1880
census and there were no children listed. They were living next door to
Elizabeth Reeves, a widow, and she had a male, John, age 6/12, born
December, in her household. No relationship was stated, but that must have
been her grandson??
