> Hi Beth, Thanks for the encouraging words. I have to say that it surely
seems to be true that pain pills and slogging thru the exercises is the
road to success. I only used a walker abour three days before switching to
a cane. I have two canes that my Grandpa Walker (Sweeties second husbnd)
whittled out of tree limbs. Now I don't even use a cane unless I'm going
outside just for stability.
> Wouldn't it be great to all meet in Calico? It could not be spring
months for me because of my son and I having a greenhouse and those are our
busy months. Bt mid June we have slowed down considerably. Any way let's
keep it in mind. Love, Dolores

another "younger" lady in the building were really concerned about how well
she was going to get around when she got home. It was really a Hoot. She
signed herself out of rehab and told the services to get her scheduled for
physical therapy at home. They did, and she has just done fine. Needless to
say, this lady is a great example for all of us. Marguarite said that the

loved it, because I had told Marguarite to phone me when she need me to do
something. I had taken soup and salads to her and then, she phoned---She
wanted to know if I would mind putting her laundry into the washer, then
moving it to the dryer in the basement? She had just realized that she was
limited to not going up and down stairs for a time. That happened only once,
she was going up and down stairs within two weeks (I have no idea whether
she was advised to do that or not, that soon but she did.) She has just seen
the angels exibit in Jackson, MS and had gotten to tour some of the historic

saw such miserable faces as those kids.
