If you go to http://amberalert.com/ You may have to create a user ID & PW, though.

You can specify your specific states and states that surround you or that you have relatives or friends in.

If you go to http://www.nsopr.gov/ This site will help locate the sex offenders that live in your community...good to know. Great to know if you have young children or grandkids.

Click on agree to term at bottom center and then verify the numbers that you see to gain access to this site. Then just click on the state that you live in or are interested in and enter the county name and up to 5 zip codes that you'd like searched. I usually just enter 1 zip code (where I live) and then I am provided with the level #1, #2, & #3 Sex Offenders that live nearby. Now, just click on a name and their photo and a map of their resident is shown. Of course, they don't have photos of sex offenders not yet caught!
