Not so fast boys and girls! I show Nancy's death as 2/25/1871. She is in
my grandmother and cousin line/ According to what I was told via family
lore, she died shortly after the birth of her last child, Nancy Caroline
Jeffery who was born 2/21/1871. And, if I remember correctly (but can't
find my picture to prove it) her tombstone says that date as well. All my
photos of the tombstone and papers are filed away in storage as I did not
have room for them here at home.

I also show Daniel Jeffery's second wife to be a Sarah Trebaugh,. His wife
is recorded as being Sarah in the 1880 census per the wonderful Peggy King
Truesdale!!!

I do NOT have a death date on the child Nancy Jeffery. She reportedly
married a George William McLean and I have no info on him, either. I do
know they lived in Hardy for a period of time.

Yes, I agree with you and have changed my records. She obviously was live
In August 1870. Gave birth the following February 1871 and it appears to
Me, too that she died from complications of childbirth. For once, a census
Record tolda story.
