Hey guys?

This gets kind of interesting?

It appears that Tabitha - the wife of Tillman Pierce Jarrett - was also
married to Edley Williams' father; Jonathan Williams. Jonathan Williams
died in Cherokee Co., Georgia on Mar 2, 1869 and by the 1870 census, these
families were in Arkansas.

23 June 1870 Izard Co., Arkansas census, Franklin Township, LaCrosse Post
Office:
WILLIAMS, Edley 45 M W farmer 500/400 GA (Step-son of Tabitha's.)
#52/52 Jane A. 36 F W keeping house GA (Jarrett by birth, Tabitha's
daughter.)
Louisa 20 F W GA
Tilman P. 18 M W at home GA
Saphronia 15 F W GA
Ann E. 13 F W GA
WILLIAMS, Tabitha 56 F W lives with family SC

Not sure when Tilman Jarrett died in Georgia - but, the last child that I
have for Tabitha and Tilman is 1842. Goodness, interesting and confusing
family?

Edley's mother a woman named Jane died on August 30, 1843 - also in Cherokee
Co., Georgia.

Tabitha also had a son named William R. "Will" Jarrett (b1841) and it was
Will's son; Zach Jarrett that married my grandmother's older sister; Martha
Blankenship (1878-1926). Zach Jarrett and Martha Blankenship died under
mysterious circumstances or so one of their descendants told me once. I
don't have a death date for Zach - but, Martha Blankenship Jarrett died
February 11, 1926 and I believe they both are buried there at the Wilkerson
Cemetery in Sharp County.
