Hi Harold

A couple of years ago I did some research on the Nicks family and for the
life of me, I can't recall why I was even. I suppose that I was just being
nosey?

Take a look at this census record for me, will you? Of course, it is a
transcription - but, what do you make of the child - aged 10 months in this
1880 record? This is Elizabeth Ann Puckett Nicks with her second husband;
McCord:

1880 Census Sharp Co., Arkansas, Washington Township:
MCCORD, Joseph W. 53 TN -- -- farmer
#47-50 Elizabeth wife 51 TN VA NC
NICKS, Elizabeth step-daughter 12 AR TN TN
Martin son 10m AT TN --

I have that William Jesse Nicks died on May 11, 1868. I suppose that this
little guy; Martin could be Nicks' son - if he were conceived shortly before
the May 1868 death date, right guys? But geez - Elizabeth gave birth at 49
or 50?

What are your thoughts?
