Can anyone help identify William Arnold, born ca. 1824, in Tennessee
who was in AR by the 1840s. His wife was Elizabeth, born in AL, and
all of their children, starting in 1845, were born in AR, William
is in the 1850 Osage Township, Carroll Co., AR census and in the 1860
Mulberry, Franklin (which later became Crawford) Co., AR census.
I am interested in his son Henry Clay Arnold, born in AR ca. 1845,
who married Sarah Young in Mulberry, then Franklin Co., AR, ca.
1867. Henry Clay served in the Union army. He had a brother
William. Henry Clay Arnold, at times, lived in the Indian
Territory "just west of Arkansas."--perhaps in the Choctaw nation.
Is there a connection between the above William Arnold, born ca.
1824, in Tennessee and the Izard Co. Arnold families?
Any help much appreciated. Pansylea Howard Willburn
