This is the CARPENTER line that I research.

1)Robert Carpenter and Matilda (unknown,) some folks believe her maiden name
was GAWF. We are trying to find some documentation as to what her maiden
name was. To find this information would be a GREAT discovery, as it now a
roadblock in our research.


2) Edmund C. Carpenter (son of Robert and Matilda) married Mary Deborah
McCord.

3)Joseph Robert Carpenter was born on October 19, 1869 at Arkansas. Joseph
Robert Carpenter was the son of Edmund C. Carpenter and Mary Deborah McCord.

Joseph Robert Carpenter married Sara Alice Crownover, daughter of William
C. Crownover and Rebecca Jane Cain.

Joseph Robert Carpenter died on March 7, 1933 at Cave City, Sharp County,
Arkansas, at age 63.
