Calico Rock Progress - Dec 30, 1949 - Mount Pleasant Man Fatally Injured in
Car Accident Saturday
Henry Clay Winkle, aged 66, of Mount Pleasant, was killed Saturday night
when the automobile he was driving crashed into a tree about two miles north
of Mount pleasant. He was alone in the automobile. A native of Izard County,
Mr Winkle was a farmer and spent practically all his life at or near Mount
Pleasant. Survivors include his wife, two sons, Clyde of Sacramento, Calif.,
and Pleas of Ephrata, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs Ruby Moser of Mount Pleasant; a
brother, Tom of Atoka, Okla., and a sister, Mrs T. Moser of Sidney.
