I cannot read how many years Mizy Croom was md. It looks like a '0' when I look at the census, but I can't tell. Now with her children listed as having 6 with 5 living, it looks like she is the mother to the 5 Pearson children listed here.
Without the 1890 census, I can't figure out if she was. I don't know if Croom was her maiden name? Was Mary md. to a Croom before she married a Helms? There is almost 10 yrs difference in age between Mizy and Ransom.
Do any of you Helms/ Croom researchers in Izard county recognize this family?
