Oh boy - what memories for sure, especially for a farm girl. I can't think
of anything on a farm that could be any meaner than a big old goose.
Pinch - oh I can still feel that hurt when they'd grab you. Everyone was
afraid of a big bull and they should have been, but I think us kids were
more afraid of the geese. We knew they had unlimited wandering rights and
could do sneak attacks when you least expected it. And going barefooted
wasn't so much fun either....Yuk!

I'm sure you're Gma wasn't the only one that save the day with the apron
attack.
