Dorothy, believe I can tell you a little about this family, won't be much
for dates, etc., mostly childhood memories on my part. Dora Peel Wolf was a
G-Aunt, daughter of Allen Peel and Eliza Jane Bagley Peel of Independence
County. Her first husband, James Wolf, died in a farm accident as he was
plowing the fields.
Dora's second husband was a Mr. Lackey, and her Wolf children were Herbert,
Maude, and Edwina Wolf McPherson. They were living in or near Sand Springs,
OK in 1937, believe Mr. Lackey worked in oil fields.
Remember visiting them and the menfolks would listen to the "prize fights"
on his radio, and also seem to recall that he had a parrot that stayed in
their living room!
Best regards, Grace Constantine
