Can anyone tell me something about Dora Peel Wolf? I believe she was the wife of James Edwin Wolf who died in accident in 1894. There were three children, Charles Hubert Wolf, Edwin Wolf and Maude Wolf. I have no dates for Dora and no dates for the children.

It has been thought that Dora then married someone named Wall Lackey. I did find a family of Walter Lackey with a wife Dora M listed for the 1900 Baxter County census. Is this perhaps the same Dora? There were no Wolf children found in that household so have no clues. This Walter Lackey was born in 1875 and Dora M Lackey was born in 1868. Both listed their birth states as AR with both parents also born in AR.

What family does Walter Lackey belong to?

Does anyone know what happened to Charles Hubert, Edwin, and Maude Wolf. They must have been rather young as their father had previously been married to Sallie P. Keeling and she died about 1885. So a second marriage to Dora Peel was between 1885 and 1894 when James Edwin Wolf was killed.

I find the name of W.H.H. Lackey in the Iuka, AR newspaper, Aug 2, 1894 as reporting the death of James Wolf.

I do NOT know that Peel was the maiden name of Dora, it could possibly be a married name also.
