Thanks to all who responded, I think I have enough to get
most of the family correctly. I finally found a Rootsweb source
using an alternate spelling, although I was never able to find
more than 2 wives.

I have no connection to the Cheney family, although my brother
has a connection by marriage. Rosanna's nephew, Senator J.
Orville Cheney, was quite prominent in Arkansas during the time
I was growing up. He was the subject of a 4-part article in the
"Izard County Historian" in 1984 & 1985. His son Max and I were
at the University at the same time and used to ride back and
forth from Calico Rock to Fayetteville together.
