Vera,
This is part of a message I received back from Earl, told you he would be so happy with obit and info you found. Lyndell, he knew Dorlis Green but said that Dorlis couldn't remember anything about his family. Dorlis was ill and went with his wife to Springfield to see doctors. He would visit with Earl and his wife while there.

I am beside myself--all this new information makes me want to make a trip to Arkansas to meet my cousins. And to the forest service. Willow Springs was headquarters for the Mark Twain Forest personnel and our Greens were in the middle of the Mark Twain Forest. Almost to a man, the Greens worked in the timber. Sawmills, shingle mills, CCC Camp, you name it, the Greens were there (in Howell Co). Now we learn that Alva's family was involved with the forest program in Izard County. It figures.
Thanks again,
Marguerette
