I bet you knew the son, Alva J Green, of Francis Marion and Mahala Holliday Green. At least, that is what I think is the maiden name of the wife of Francis Marion. I found a post that said Mahala Holliday b. 1905 m. Frances (Francis) Green in Arkansas.
Francis and Mahala Green are in the 1930 Rorie Twp, Stone Co., AR and living with them is their son, Alva J, who is less than a month old. Alva J. Green is also living with them, father of Francis. I just thought, Alva J, baby was born the same year I was.
I bet the forest is beautiful! I have been in the ones in Missouri and they are. I love that part of the country.
