Calico Rock Progress - Jul 27, 1945 - Wild Cherry Citizen Dies at Age of 85

Charles Sexton, one of this section's oldest and most highly
respected citizens, died at his home near Wild Cherry July 13th, at the age
of 85 years. The greater part of his life was spent in the vicinity of Wild
Cherry.

The funeral was held Saturday, July 14th, funeral services being
conducted by Rev. Y. Whitfield of Pineville. Burial was in Corinth Cemetery.

Deceased is survived by four daughters, Mrs Ida Arnold of Wild
Cherry, Ark., Mrs Fannie King of Marshall, Texas, Mrs Mattie Anderson of
Tatum, Texas and Mrs Lura Anderson of Henderson, Texas and one son, James
Sexton of Wild Cherry.
