I think after much discussion we decided that Melissa Cassey Marchant was
married to William and Jane Wren Gray's son William (not William F but the
first William)probably but not to John M. John M. married Mary Marchant
also listed with her parents in 1880. In 1880 John M is living with Jane
Gray as single. In the cemetery book on Clay Co, TX it gives John M's wife
and Maud Mildred's mother as Mary Marchant. There is also the possibility
that Cassey could have been married to John W and Phoebe's son William Gray
but more likely the son of William and Jane.
