Calico Rock Progress - Nov 3, 1922 - Young Lady Dies

Miss Edith Killian, age 25, who lived with her mother near Spring Creek,
died at her home Monday evening, Nov. 30th, after an illness of several
weeks, being a patient sufferer from tubercular ailments and complications.
The remains were interred at the Iuka cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock,
funeral services being conducted by Rev. Verner Bruce. Deceased was highly
esteemed by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. She was a true
Christian, being a member of the M. E. Church, South.

NOTE: Moody Cemetery - Edith Killian with no dates - d/o Bill and Gene
Killian.

1900 Izard County census - Edith b. Oct 1896 dau. of William Killian and his
wife is listed as Martha.
