They definitely tie into the Killians, but I'm not sure how Waid Killian
fits in. I found this on a quick search:

I'm researching more on the Welch side of things and found the Robert
Lackey family near my MAY and WELCH families in the 1840 Wayne Co., TN
census. I suspect Nancy may be related but not sure just how yet.
