Hi,

My cousin has Thomas Hightower Talburt as dying in 1863 in Missouri and he
and Rebecca have two children:

William Henry Talburt

John Thomas Talburt

I don't know if this is correct, I just noticed your post and thought I
should give you something to look at. I don't have any information on her
second husband. The URL for my cousins info on them is

Just a note of thanks - everything that you post is just pieces that put the

Puzzle together. With the information on the Harris' in Union Cemetery - I

Was able to find out more on the family.

It appears that Rebecca, wife of W. J. Harris was a Ricketts by birth. Her

First husband was Thomas Hightower Talburt (1841-1861) and was a War

Casualty. I am unsure if there were Hightower children born to that union -

It was probably a shortlived marriage and sadly a short life for Mr.

Talburt.

Thomas Hightower Talburt was the son of Walter Mathew "Wat" Talburt and Mary

Ann "Polly" Hightower.

Rebecca's second husband; W. J. Harris was deceased himself by 1872 and

Rebecca by 1878. I have the 1860 and 1880 census records for Harris. Does

Anyone have the 1870 for him?
