"The History and Families of Izard County, Arkansas"
was first printed in 2001 and is a 8.5" X 11" bound volume
consisting of 248 pages of historical and genealogical
information about families of Izard County. Each page is
three columns wide and each family sketch usually runs
one or two columns.

The book was published by the Izard County Historical
and Genealogical Society, with Juanita Stowers as editor.
Also credited are: our own Vera Reeves, Betty McCollum,
Betty Brunson, Sue Chrisco and many others.

The book was reprinted in 2003, at $59.95, by Turner
Publishing Company of Paducah KY. Their web page is

I do not know if the book is still available, probably any of
the sources above could tell you. The Wiseman sketch runs
about a column and a half, too much for my tired old fingers
to type, but I will see if I can get it scanned.......harold b.
