Hi Jim,

Still haven`t found that little "gal" yet??

STILL LOOKING FOR GREAT GRANDMA SOPHRONIA DAVENPORT (WISEMAN) MONTGOMERY

Like you, I am always searching DAVENPORT/DEVENPORT too.

MY Davenports are through #1) William Davenport of NC / Newberry Co.SC,
through his son,#2) STEPHEN, who married (? unknown ? Reagan) in Newberry
Co SC ca.1820.
#2) STEPHEN and Unknown: moved to TN. (Hardeman Co / Weakley Co.)
had sons:
#3**William, Hiram, *Isaac ( the suvivor of the *Sultana Explosion )
#2) Stephen Davenport married twice; ( Unknown and Ann ABERNATHY)
He had a large family/ 14 children.
The son **WILLIAM is my line. Died in Lawrence Co. Ar. 1855.
Some members of this family left Tn. for AR. / OK./ TX.
Would appreciate ANY information about ANY Davenport.
