Calico Rock ProgressApr 15, 1938 - J. P. Davidson Dead

Joseph Pickney Davidson, aged 51, died suddenly Thursday morning
about nine o'clock at his home at Sage. He was a well known farmer of the
Sage community and a member of one of the oldest families of that section.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs Mabel Davidson, and eleven
children, including four sons; Roy, Ronald, Vaughn and J. P., Jr. all of
Sage and seven daughters; Mrs Mabel Helm of Elk City, Okla., Mrs Meryle
Marchant of Pueblo, Colo., Mrs Gladys Helm, Mrs Verbel Battle, Mrs Fay
Shell, Miss Helen Davidson and Miss Laura Alice Davidson, all of Sage.
