Hmmm............interesting?

Your Carters were in Izard County circa 1850?

1850 Izard Co., Arkansas census, Franklin Township:
489 MAY William C. 33 TN Farmer
Emily 25 TN
Susan P. 7 AL
Isabella 3 AR
William H. 1 AR
William 76 VA
Sally 50 SC
CARTER Andrew 17 AR
SMITH Joseph 45 KY Farmer

Oddly, it shows that this Andrew Carter was born in Arkansas? Circa 1833?
That's early, isn't it?

family of Carter's showed up in Izard/Sharp County around that time. The
mystery has always been who did they know? Any more info on Andrew Carter
would be helpful.
