Calico Rock Progress - Sep 20, 1929 - Camp / Clark Wedding
On last Saturday afternoon at three o'clock, a very pretty wedding was
solemnized in the parlors of the Masonic Home at Batesville, when Miss
Prudie Camp became the bride of Mr Alfred Clark. The ceremony was performed
by Rev. W. C. Davidson, pastor of the First Methodist Church at Batesville.

Beautiful decorations were featured in floral arrangements of ferns and
gladiola. Mrs Ruth Johnston played pre-nuptial music and Mr Quiney Wolf sang
"Because".

Special friends of the bride and groom were present and after the wedding an
informal reception was held. The bride and groom left immediately for the
wedding trip through the Ozarks.

The bride is a charming and accomplished young woman who has made her home
at the Masonic of the state at Batesville for a number of years, where she
received her education and lately has served in the capacity of matron of
the small girls at the home.

The groom is well and favorably known and is a former citizen of Calico
Rock, being the son of Mr and Mrs Geo. A. Clark. He is employed in the
drafting department of the district office of the Highway Department at
Batesville.

Mr and Mrs Clark will make their home in Batesville.
