Oct 2, 1936 - Mrs Sarah Estes Dies Unexpectedly

Mrs Sarah Estes, aged about 75, wife of the late Charles Estes of this
place, died at her home in the east part of town, Saturday night. Her death
came unexpectedly, as she was thought to be feeling as well as usual until a
short while before her demise.

Deceased has been a resident of this county practically all her life and
has been a resident of Calico Rock about 15 years. She was a devout
Christian and was loved and esteemed by all who knew her. She was a member
of the Church of Christ.

Surviving are several grown children, grandchildren and other relatives.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Flat Rock Church,
services being in charge of Elder T. H. Sherrill. Interment was at Flat Rock
Cemetery.
