Gary, I really wondered about this?
The Spring Creek is way down the hill behind the church from the cemetery
which is really up a pretty steep hill from the church. I don't understand where
the cars would have been parked to have gone across a rope bridge to this
cemetery.

That was what I couldn't figure out when you said that before? Wonder where
that you could have possibly parked to have crossed the creek to get to the
cemetery? Would there have been anyway that that bridge could have been across
Piney and walked a good distance to Spring Creek Cemetery? Might that have
been how you came to the cemetery?

As the crow flies-----how far is Creswell from Spring Creek Cemetery?
Honestly, I hadn't thought of that? Do you suppose you walked through the woods
first? Could that have been a rope bridge on Piney? If I am remembering right
Spring Creek does empty into Piney but quite a good distance from the church.

Any thoughts?
Beth

I think you are correct about the cemetery. I am fairly certain that it was
Spring Creek as that is where most of my grandmother's Dillards are burried.
I raised this question before and was told that it did not exist. Forty years
ago, we crossed a rope bridge over the creek to get to the cemetery as it was
shorter to go that way than drive to the other side. Someone thought that
must be a different cemetery, but when I was in Arkansas for Easter, I asked my
Uncle who took us and he it did have one.
