Bernie, the 1880 census for Cave City gives a bit more insight than was in
your entry.
Manerva's son Robert Johnson was next door...

I think that the enumerator entered the household number for Manerva on the
wrong line and that she is the head of household 10.

First, I found Robert in 1870 Ashley Township, Independence County,
Arkansas:

I didn't find Manerva right away, so I went to the 1860 census. Found them
in the Barren Township of Independence County:
724 713 Manerva Johnson 37 F Farmer 3800 5000 TN
Robert Johnson 17 M AR
Lecuferah Johnson 15 M AR
Mary Eason 13 F AR *no
relationship given
I haven't found Lecuferah in any other census, I suspect he died young
trying to spell his name...
Next door to Manerva was her daughter Catherine:

Catherine P Green 18 F AR

So, armed with this information I went back to the 1870 census. I found
George and Catherine in the Franklin Township of Izard County:
17 17 Green George 35 M Farmer 250 1000 AL
Catharine P 22 F AL (sic)
I knew from previous research that there were Felts in the Franklin Township
in 1870 although they are indexed as Fetts. I found Manerva there, married
to Isham Felts:
45 45 Felts Isham 77 M Farmer 1800 350 NC
Manerva 45 F TN
Eson(sic) Mary 19 F TN (sic)
Again, no relationship between Mary and Manerva given.

So, Manerva was married first to an unknown Johnson and second to Isham
Felts. This was Isahm's second marriage also. Here is a descendacy tree on
