Can anyone provide me information on a William Bass who was born about 1828 in AR and was found on the 1850 Izard Co., AR census with wife Malinda, age 13. All of the people living near this couple are related to Major Jacob Wolf's family either directly or by marriage. Perhaps Malinda Bass is the daughter of Zachariah and Lucinda Finley. If so then the William Bass in question must have died as Malinda is shown on a later census as living with her widowed mother, Lucinda Unknown Finley Winn/Wynn and she is shown as a widow also.

I have no clue as to who the parents of the William Bass are but another relative of this Wolf family married a Taylor Bass also of the area, and about the same time frame. I have no data for his family either, but I suppose there could be a connection.

I also see that the Robert B. Wynn is living next to a William Wynn. I do not know if they are brothers, but would like any data you have on the Wynn family also.

The Azariah Tinnin family is living in the mix and his wife, Amanda, is also the daughter of Major Wolf. The Elizabeth Wolf living nearby is the widow of Michael Wolf, brother of Major Wolf.

I belive that Lucinda Unknown Finley Wynn's daughter, Mildred Finley, married James M. Wolf, Jr., nephew of Amanda Tinnin mentioned above, and Lucinda's son David K. Finley married Nancy Elizabeth Chastain, daughter of William D. and Mary Ann Frye Chastain. This Nancy Elizabeth Chastain was first married to Azariah T. Wolf, son of Lorenzo Dow and Martha Wooten Wolf, and also a nephew to Amanda Tinnin. When both of her husbands died, Nancy Elizabeth then married Isaac Riley Kellough Luther, son of Catherine Jane Kellough and probably Jesse H. Wolf, but he carried the Luther name as his mother married Calvin Luther when he was about 6 years old.

As I said those families were related to each other and any help you can give me on any of them would be greatly appreciated.
