I have my WOODCOCK's in the 1840 KY; 1850 Marion County, AR; 1860 Searcy Co;
1880 Tulare, CA; and other family members in various ones. I don't show
them in the 1870.

I don't have anything that tells me that they went to TX. That still might
be her. I'll have to do some checking - thanks!!

There is a Mary Woodcock in Searcy Co. for 1870. She is listed as head of
household:

19 July 1870 Searcy Co., Arkansas census, Buffalo Township, Marshall Post
Office:
WOODCOCK, Mary 25 F W at home AR
#3 John W. 4 M W TX

If this is Mary Langston Woodcock.................then you might see that
there was a Texas migration involved shortly after their marriage? I didn't
see where there was a child named John W. born to Modena and Mary - but if
this is her - maybe this one that no one knew about?

Just a thought.
