Roger, to answer your question, I don't have a clue who the other people
shown on the census. I have another cousin who has been studying this, and he
speculates that the extra three are the children of Stephen's brother Joseph W.,
but that is just a guess, no proof.

I have no information on Mary Mitchell at all right now, but I am going to be
looking.

Those poor census takers sure had a problem with their spelling!! No wonder
our job is so hard! You are a real detective to have found the family with
three different spellings, Gilbert, Gelbert and Gibbert! Thanks for your help!
