Mar 20, 1931 - Obituary:
On last Tuesday evening March 10, about 4 o'clock the Death Angel
visited the home of Mrs Sartin and took from her a companion and loving
father. Mr. I. N. Sartin was born July 7, 1870 age 60 years died March 10,
1931. He was converted in early life and joined the Missionary Baptist
Church and has lived a faithful member ever since. He leaves a wife and 7
children and other relatives and a host of friends to mourn his loss, but
loss is heavens gain. He was laid to rest in the Vest Cemetery near Boswell
March 11 about 12 o'clock in the presence of a large congregation. Eld. D.
A. Hively conducted the funeral services. Dear companion and children lets
look away from the grave and look to heaven where father is living. Lets
prepare to meet him in the after while and there make an unbroken family
around the throne of God. (Vest Cemetery: I. N. Sartin b. 7 Jul 1879 d. 10
Mar 1931)

Have an obit for Ralph Timothy Sartin s/o Elijah and Genevra Hendrix Sartin
if anyone wants it.
