Beth,
This Cora Campbell , wife of Geroge Campbell, was Cora Beavers Campbell also
sister to my grandmother Allie Beavers Burns.
Cora painted a lot and painted several Baptistery in Churchs. She even
went to Ok and other place to paint some.
When I was small I use to go to her house and watch her paint.
Like Harold, I also have several of her painting, in fact, one I have in my
home is 16 feet wide by 8 feet tall. It is from the Baptistery from the
Melbourne Baptist Church of Melboure. I saved the painting when the old
church was torn down and not one else wanted to try to save it.
I don't know if she painted areas around Calico. I do know she did the
railroad and railroad house that was in Mammoth Springs AR.
Might I ask where in Calico Rock you saw the paintings.
