May 4, 1972 White River Currant, Calico Rock

David Love Porterfield, age 75 of Wild Cherry, AR, passed away
April 23, 1972 in Fulton County. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Altie Porterfield of the home, four
sons, Allen of Wild Cherry, James of Pineville, and Leo and Dolan, both of
Mo., five daughters, Hazel Wyatt of Calico Rock, Nellie Steel of Wild
Cherry, Elsie Porterfield of Odessa, Mo., Maxine Pannell of Michigan; three
sisters, Iva Sanders of Dolph; Ella Jones of Calico Rock and Leona
Bransfield of Hot Springs; 30 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral was Tuesday, 2:30 p.m. at Wild Cherry Methodist Church with
burial at Wild Cherry Cemetery. Revs Frank Hall and Robert Morrison
officiated. Arrangements were by Howard Funeral Home.
