Oh, yuck (as my kids used to say), you mean you had to do that DIRTY 4
letter word?? W O R K ?? I've retired, & I've never been sorry, except
that we only get paid once a month (pension), instead of 4 times a
month~~~that really HURTS!!
I really appreciate all of y'all on the Izard board. I guess I got the Stone
County thing straightened out~~not sure!!
I mean the message board!! I've found out when a lot of my ancestors got
married, but just can't find out when my maternal grand pa & grandma got
married!! I know it was about 1903 in Stone County, but no definate date!!
I'm always wanting SOMETHING, huh?? I think I was so smart when I lucked on
to the Izard board!! I've found out more here, than I have in several years
on other boards!!! Thanks again y'all !!! Jean in Texas

> Jean, Sorry that I dropped the ball on you. After requesting more
info from you, I got "waylaid", (which means that I had to do some work :)).
I see that Vera has already jumped in and found some of what you are looking
for. But then I knew she would....There is a method to my madness!!

figure out how to get on that mailing list and hope that you have had some
luck. I am going to warn you up front though. I have said several times
that the listers on the Stone County board are my illusive ancestors. Which
means that the board is VERY quiet compared to this one. I have also
noticed that the ones posting or responding to the Stone List are also on
this one.

county queries too often ;) But never have they told me I was in the wrong
county or to bug off.

adopt me, as there is a lot more information found here than any of the
other lists that I subscribe to!!
