Jean, Sorry that I dropped the ball on you. After requesting more info from you, I got "waylaid", (which means that I had to do some work :)). I see that Vera has already jumped in and found some of what you are looking for. But then I knew she would....There is a method to my madness!!

Vera is awesome.

Most of my family are Stone Countians also. I have noticed you trying to figure out how to get on that mailing list and hope that you have had some luck. I am going to warn you up front though. I have said several times that the listers on the Stone County board are my illusive ancestors. Which means that the board is VERY quiet compared to this one. I have also noticed that the ones posting or responding to the Stone List are also on this one.

This is a great bunch of people and I TRY not to bother them with off county queries too often ;) But never have they told me I was in the wrong county or to bug off.

One of these days I am going to get brave enough to ask if someone won't adopt me, as there is a lot more information found here than any of the other lists that I subscribe to!!

Estelle (a male, I think), John Marshall, Oran L, Virgil Alonzo, Anna
Salene, and Golda J.
Effie DeLettie Green, their first child, B: Dec 30 1894, Mountain View, D:
Feb 18 1981, Married Richard Oliver Lowrance, B; 1890 Stone County, D:
1970 Plummerville Ark.
Their children: Isaac, Lula(my mom), Earnest, Marlon, Howard, Clifton,
Arlie, and Ira.
