We sent this information off line but thought that the list might
appreciate some of the information.

We took a look in the SSDI and noted that Ava's last residence was
Hanford CA, not Fresno, CA.

We also searched the Hanford Sentinel (on-line) and found these two items.

Note that the obits have been cut off after a few lines. However, this
may provide for you a few leads to follow up. Vera may have some
connections in Hanford, and may be able to get the rest of the obituary
article. We seem to remember that she has mentioned connections to
Hanford previously.
