Hi Terri,
On one of the Census I found my W G Moore on it says his father was
born in Pa!
But now on another one it says his father was born in Ohio,so either are
possiblities,I know "everything"I have ever found on my Ggrandpa W G
Moore says he himself was born in Ohio,I do know he married my
Ggrandmother Nora Ellen Powell of Findlay,Ohio/Hancock Co,there in the
same town in Feb 1885,but I also believe he was married once before Nora
Ellen Powell, for he had as son Granvlle/Grandville H Moore that was born
about 1876/1877 in Ohio ,and Nora Ellen was born in 1964 so you can see
she wasnt old enough to be his mother,I also know that they moved to
"somewhere" in Michigan by 1886,my Grandpa Benjamin Franklin Moore was
born in 1886 and he had a sister born in 1889 i believe was the year, her
name was Millie Ida Moore also born in Michigan, but I cannot find out
where in Michigan they were born,I have conflicting information on what
town, something things say Ann Arbor, some say Flint and some say St
Clair,I've tried getting look-ups done in each place but nobody can find
a birth record of Grandpa Ben or Aunt Ida,I believe the 1st Census found
with them in Arkansas was 1900 in Lawerence Co,Lawerence Twnship, then
they moved to Hutchinson Mountain,Arkansas/Independence Co I believe,I
know where Grandpa Ben is buried but I cannot find NO record of William G
or Nora Ellen and I have been looking for years,I have tried ever avenue
I could possibly think of to finding out about William G's family,"his
parents,brothers,or sisters",,I find NOTHING!
I have also tried to find a marriage record of Granville and his
wife,to possibly get some information off it about W G Moore's family but
I cant even find a marriage record of them,I know they were married
apx,1903,the first child i believe was born in 1906,but they lived in
Lawerence Co.Arkansas for a time then on a Census it says they lived in
Missouri for a time,I found a Granville Moore in a Cem in Greene
Co.Arkansas but it gives no info ,just his name,no date or
anything, therefore i dont know that ,that is him,or why he would be
buried in Greene Co.
There could be possibilities our Moore's are connected being some of
yours were from PA,but unless you have info on mine i dont know know how
to find out the connection,
Leatha
