<<Other survivors include: two brothers, Eugene, Burr
Oak, and Charles Ritz, San Jacinto, Calif.; and a
sister Rachel Gross, Benzonia, Mich.>>

Ooooooh, now I get it!

Duh?

I think that you're right, Krystal. Blood sister to Finkey - wow, but who
is Rachel's hubby?

And Charles Ritz? Sure does sound like it was his surname and not middle
name, doesn't it? Half brother, maybe?

Sounds to me like Lela was married to Gross and her sister-in-law; Rachel
was a Finkey by birth. George Gross and Lela (divorce?) are parted and she
marries Rachel's brother?

Have I got it now, Krystal? You think?

Something kind of interesting here............

Gross and Lela married in Baxter Co. Don't you wonder what it was he was
doing in Arkansas in 1938? Marries Lela and heads back to
Michigan.............

You are so good at his detective work, my dear. Thanks a bunch.
