This is certainly a story of intrigue, and captured the
minds of a great number of our list members. I have done
quite a bit of research on this particular story, but was
unable to determine for certainty the place and date of
Lela's death. About two years ago someone found the dates
which you determined to be wrong, and I for one filed those
dates into my data and it is still there. Now, we can be
thankful for the work you did to bring this to the front,
and give it proper closure.
I am happy to read that Lela lived to be 86 years of age,
and hopefully those years were nice years. The
circumstances surrounding this tragedy were surrounded with
events that I am sure had a tremendous amount of mental
stress on her. Hopefully she was able to put those events
of sorrow behind her in the years to follow.
