Aunt Patty Hightower died last Sunday and was buried at Spring Creek Tuesday
evening. She was 93 years old.

Mr. Jet Copp attended the funeral of Aunt Patty Hightower last week.

Jan 20, 1933 - Mrs Laura Tomlinson
Mrs Laura Tomlinson, aged 82, of Zion died last Friday. She is survived by
two sons, Gerome Tomlinson of Zion and Oscar Tomlinson of Melbourne, and
three daughters, Telia Hightower of Zion; Mrs Ben Woods of Sage, and Mrs Tom
Ragan of Leonard, Texas.

Jun 21, 1935 - Hightower / Jett Wedding
Floyd Hightower of Violet Hill and Miss Ruby Jett of Brockwell were united
in marriage at the home of Elder T. H. Sherrill of Calico Rock Monday
morning, June 17th. Both the bride and groom are held in the highest esteem
by all who know them. They are from well known and much respected families
of Izard county. Their many friends wish that all their future may be as
bright as their wedding day, with joys and blessings deep and many, with
sorrows light and few. The couple will be at home at Brockwell.
