Hi Sharron,

I am ALWAYS interested in any information that might connect to anyone of
my family! :-)

I know nothing about Lutitia LANKFORD, other than that she was 18 when she
married my grandfather (he was 21) and she appears to have been his first
wife. Because of his age, it's difficult to make connections. He died six
years before I was born, and would have been about 68 years old at the time
of his death.

I found in the 1880 Census one LANKFORD family:

LANKFORD Henry M 28 **** Farmer AR SC TN

129/131 Margerate F 24 wife Keeping House AR SC AR

Manda S F 4 daughter AR AR AR

Martha F 1 daughter AR AR AR

I am not sure how these folks were related to Letitia. Seems most likely
that they would be, though.

Here's what I found so far on this family:

Descendants of Henry Lankford

1 Henry Lankford b: October 19, 1851 in Tennessee d:
February 03, 1946 in Izard County, AR Burial: Roberts
Cemetery, Izard County, AR
.. +Margaret Unknown b: January 03, 1856 in Arkansas d:
April 07, 1943 in Izard County, AR Burial: Roberts Cemetery,
Izard County, AR
... 2 Amanda S. Lankford b: 1876
... 2 Martha Lankford b: 1879

There were no LANKFORDS listed in the 1870 census for Izard County.

I would love to see what you have for your LANKFORDS, thanks!

Jean
