Not sure if I am giving you information that you already have; but I have in
my records that Jane and Zit's first two children were:

Nicholas Perkins Foster (1859-1859)
Note: This was a brother of Mariah "Jane" Stone's namesake.

Mary Foster (1860-1861)

Note: Wonder if this could be the name of Jane Stone's sister that Zit was
first married to, Regina?

Both children born in Arkansas. (But, you said that this family did not
arrive in Arkansas until circa 1880 or so, per your notes, Reginia?) Have
you ever found older census records for the Stone family to explore?

I wish that I had noted where the information was found concerning Zit's
first wife being a Stone sister of Jane's - but, I unfortunately did not.
Don't you just hate it when I don't do that? Promise that if I ever run
across the source, will pass it on your way.

not proven any of this but most of the other Huggins stuff she gave me was
accurate so I am fairly confident that this is "ok". Siblings: Bethuna
"Thena" Stone b. May 15 1828 m. Felix Elbert Staggs 9 kids Susan Agnes
Stone b. Dec 10 1831 m. Charles Henry Buercklin William H. "Billy" Stone b.
1832 sp. Arminta Nicholas Perkins Stone b. Jan 27 1835 m Sarah Jane Franks
Mariah Jane Stone b. 1836 Charles W. Stone b. 27 nov 1838 Killed in Civil
WarMartha Ann Stone b. Aug 28 1841 in Fayette Co., Tn d. 1931 in Stone Co.,
Ark m. either Matthew McCurley or Samuel Matthew McClure or both or they may
be same man! I'd like to learn who the father of Sally Huggins husband
was. She married William Alford Stone b. 1801 in Ga. . Sally died 1844 in
Tenn. Mr. Stone then married Zyphia ??? in Tenn. Who was she? Was she a
widow? I'm searching for a Zilpha Hamm Stone who married Jacob Hamm who died
a little before 1850 census. Hamm's Smiths Huggins and Stones all are
interrelated back there in Lauderdale Co. Ala. and McNairy Co. Tenn.and then
to Ark. How much else do you want?
