Vera, I found the information, The forms are quite lengthy, and several
pages, I have not scanned them so am sending you what I have in his notes.
Served--Co. H, 27th Ark. Inf.during the Civil War, 6/14/1862 to 6/17/1865
2 copies of land grants dated 12/10/1859 & 5/1/1861.

Spencer and Janes' first two children died in infancy, information given to
Della Jetton by Joe Foster on a visit in the 1950's. The first child name
not known, Mary was the second child.

Arkansas Confederate Veterans and Widows Pension applications.

Pvt. Confederate Army - Company H - 27th Arkansas Infantry . DURING THE
CIVIL WAR. SPENCER HAD A daughter Susanna "Wencie" Foster from a previous
marriage, she was born in Miss.she married a Pruitt. he had another son
Willie Foster, he was born Ms. .before he married Mariah Jane Stone.
then they had nine children some being born in Ala. he died of a heart
attack in Izard Co., Ar.
