Vera,
I am not sure about this age of Mary, most records indicate her
birth as about 1858. I think that comes from the record you indicate, she
would have been about 15 at marriage. What really confuses me is that
Andrew Jackson Sinor was killed about 1865 by bushwhackers in Marion
County. In 1870, Mary would not have been married yet she was married in
1873. I believe she is still living with her mother and mother's second
husband Andrew Hightower. See below what my guess is for this family.
Marion County 1870 Census, Nancy's second Husband and family.
Hightower, Andrew 51 AR
Nancy 36 TN (Nancy J. Humberd, really about
age 33?)
Henry 19 AR (From previous marriage with
Hannah, Henry Hightower b. May 1852)
Sarah 16 AR (Probably from previous
marriage with Hannah, Sarah Hightower b. Feb 1858)
Benjamin 17 TN (Probably really a Sinor,
Benjamin Sinor b. Apr 1854)
Dorthe 14 TN (Probably really a Sinor,
Dialpha Adail Sinor b. 14 Feb 1856)
Mary 12 TN (Probably really a Sinor, Mary
Calodonia Sinor b. about 1858)
Francis 12 AR (Back to previous marriage with Hannah,
Francis Mahala Hightower b. apr 1859)
George 8 AR (Back to previous marriage with
Hannah, Geroge Hightower b. 1862)
Harriett 5 AR (Now children with
Nancy, Harriett Hightower b. Aug 1866.)
Seyley 4 AR (Now children with Nancy,
Seyley Hightower b. 1867)
Louise 2 AR (Now children with Nancy,
Louisa E. Hightower b. 1 Mar 1868)
Melvina (Born after 1870 Census.)

I am still confused about what happened to George B. McClellan Sinor b. 23
Sep 1861 Marion Co. AR. He married Frances B. Chapple and they had a large
family. He is not listed in the above family, or is he? Somehow I think
this child may have been confused with George B. C. Hightower b. ca 1862,
son of Andrew Jackson Hightower and his first wife Hannah. That would be
the child listed as 8 years above. But I have no other records on George
Hightower b. ca 1862.
Vera, I will change Mary's birth to about 1858.
Can anyone help with the rest of this family, in particular, George?
Don
