Well my dear, it is a long story............but, you know how I love to tell
stories, right? LOL

I am renovating an old plantation home, there on the Big Island of Hawai'i.
Bought the house in a little community called Papa'aola this last year. The
old bank is still there. There's a post office and the plantation store is
still in cranking out some goods and there are some ladies that still cook
and prepare "to go" lunches every day.

The house I bought still has the old Lutheran Church on the grounds.
Beautiful piece of property, Barb - two acres that overlooks the Pacific
Ocean and migrating whales. Macdamia nut trees, avacodo trees, passion
fruit, you name it. Even have the residnet family of wild pigs that visit
my back yard every other morning or so to crunch around on the mac tree
droppings.

Sooooo..............am shipping household goods over there and leaving mid
March for a two month stay and then back this summer. I have contracted
with Coastal Living Magazine for a layout folks - so, keep your eyes peeled
(If you can remember to?) for a Summer 2004 issue; yet to be determined - of
my house and what magic I hopefully can perform upon it!

Ready to go to the islands, Barb? Afraid I would have to put you to work,
though. Kitchen is the next project on the agenda!

Amazing what I do with my time, isn't it folks?
