> Old Gentleman Kills Self."Uncle" Allie Moser, an old and highly respected
citizen of Lafferty township, was found hanging in the barn loft at the home
of his son, Miles, last Monday morning at about 11 o'clock.

whom he was seven and at the time of his death he was living with his son,
Miles, 1/2 mile from Anderson.

return she discovered that the old gentleman was missing and supposed he had
gone to the barn to avoid the noise of the children to take a nap. When
didder was prepared she sent one of the children to the barn to summon its
grand-parent and the child found the old gentleman hanging from the loop of
a rope fastened to a rafter of the barn.

neck and tied the rope just back of his neck with a handkershief to prevent
it from untwisting it is supposed as a hankerchief was found tied about the

he jumped off the barrel.

life. He had been in bad health several months but for some weeks prior to
his death he was thought to be much improved.
