Hi girls

Thanks Joyce

Made a note of this..........and of course it was new news to me.

I tell you something interesting about this excerpt that Vera has provided:

<<Cotter Courier - Cotter newspaper dated Nov 3, 1916
Mrs Tom Smith died Oct 23 at Ellington, MO.>>

This Mrs. Tom Smith is the mother of two children that married into my
direct Sinor family. I have not been able to determine if possibly my Tom
Smith is a son of this husband of Mrs. that is quoted or not. I can't find
a census record in Iron Co. or Reynolds Co. in Missouri to verify. Again,
it would have to be in 1870. The few descendants that I have found of this
Mrs. Tom Smith's line?

They know nothing of a Tom Smith, Jr.

Now, maybe he was a nephew? My Tom Smith, I mean?

Other children of this Mrs. Tom Smith intermarried with the same families
that my Sinors did, also. It's pretty crazy, I tell you. Sometimes I think
that I am getting so close and then other times, I want to start drinking
heavily! LOL

By the way, Joyce...........your poetry is wonderful and we are fortunate
that you are comfortable enough with us to share your work. It is well done
and again, so appreciated.

Thanks girls,
