Hi Jan,
I just checked both my cd for Izard County marriages and one which covers
parts of MO, and didn't find your couple on either. Of course, these cds
don't have records which were totally destroyed, as many of the Izard
County marriage records were in the courthouse fire.
Jan, I just checked in the 1860 census, and both Richard and Stacy were
listed there in Mill Creek Township:
466/465: Richard Boatman 21 m TN
Stacy 21 f TN
Next door to them:
John Boatman 55 m GA
Rebecca 53 f AL
William F 22 m TN
Charles 20 m TN
Lucinda 15 f TN
Willie 12 m GA
Jane 10 f AR
James 6 m AR
Eli P. ? 4 m ?
My copy of the 1860 census is not clear on the last entry, in the areas
where I placed ? marks.
